Our client is a successful online retailer looking for an experienced B2C Digital Marketing Manager to hit the ground running. They will strengthen and develop all of the businesses appropriate marketing channels, web development as well as PPC, SEO and Conversion Rate Optimisation. They will be the artery of communication between the relevant departments and alongside the offline marketing department ensure that the brand message is consistent across all channels. They will be responsible for a small but growing team that will work across all online channels.

Role and Responsibilities Digital Marketing Manager 

  • Create and implement the digital marketing strategy
  • Management of company websites
  • Manage the online media budget and reporting on this to management
  • Take responsibility of all PPC, Programmatic Display, Re-marketing and Affiliates by managing the external agencies that coordinate all digital activity
  • Implement the Social Media strategy looking at both organic and paid to engage a develop a dominant social media following
  • Look at the Conversion Rate Optimisation working with external agencies where required
  • Creation of marketing automation on site and implementation of email marketing using HubSpot
  • Create excellent user experiences constantly strengthening usability, design and content
  • Utilise strong analytical ability to evaluate end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and customer touch points

 Skills and Attributes

  • Previous experience in B2C digital marketing
  • Highly organised with Project management skills
  • Fluent managing PPC, SEO and CRO programmes
  • Fluent in up to date Google Analytics and digital reporting
  • Experience with Umbraco CMS or equivalent
  • Experience of working with multiple external agencies
  • A strong mentor who invests time in building capability and supporting other members of the digital team
