We’ve an outstanding opportunity for you to be part of an international revolutionary technology company who are growing rapidly. Become their new Marketing Manager and work on leading high-profile marketing projects as well as globally renowned sponsorships!

Our client specialises in providing key digital content and technology services to international markets, which has positioned them solidly on the market and they are not done growing yet! They have revolutionised the international technology market through key strategic partnerships, which gives them endless opportunities to be innovative and expand rapidly within a very short time. They have furthermore launched several projects with leading sporting bodies around the world, which provides outstanding and exciting projects for the Marketing Manager! Their office is based in the lovely area of Cheshire, where there will be free parking or easy access to public transportation.

The successful candidate will be an essential part of all the leading marketing projects for the business and will be involved in the entire process from idea creation, strategy implementation and delivery. The marketing campaigns will include designing, marketing communication and media planning, content creation, sponsorship and partnerships. It is therefore essential for the successful candidate to have previous experience and a proven track record of working with multiple marketing platforms. The Marketing Manager will furthermore work closely with international partners on customer acquisition and retention strategies through online and offline campaigns, which makes this role very dynamic, where strong communication skills are essential to succeed.

Main responsibilities of the Marketing Manager

  • Manage and lead high-profile marketing projects and campaigns
  • Be up to date on the newest marketing and digital trends
  • Create strong relationships with sponsorship partners
  • Mentor, manage and lead junior marketing employees
  • Provide creative inputs to campaigns
  • Ensure to have the full overview of all marketing activities within the department
  • Work closely and build strong relationships with international partners to develop efficient CRM and marketing strategies
  • Identify key promotion opportunities through the company’s marketing mix

Required skills of the Marketing Manager

  • Educated to a degree level within Marketing or equivalent
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Proven track record of managing successful marketing campaigns
  • Excellent organisational skills to ensure all projects are delivered in a timely manner
  • Previous experience in line management and managing junior employees
  • Strong understanding of online and offline marketing principles
  • Strong presentation skills are required for this role
  • Previous experience of managing stakeholder relationships
  • Excellent commercial mindset with a drive to succeed and understand how to generate revenue from effective strategies
  • Previous experience of working in the sports industry would be highly advantageous, however not a requirement
  • Strong analytical skills are needed for reporting and identify any improvements
  • Be able to work in a global environment and communication across different cultures
